Frozen Rat Medium

Many snakes and other large reptiles eat rodents like rats in the wild.

Flash frozen, farm-bred rats are a great feeding solution as they pose little risk of disease and parasites and can be kept for several weeks at a time.

Frozen rats are a relatively cheap and nutritious meal for large snakes and other reptiles.

They are easy to store, in a separate freezer, and simply need to be thawed and served. Many species will eat frozen rats.

We recommend serving frozen rats using feeding equipment as many reptiles will lunge or strike at their food.
