Frozen mice are easily kept and stored (in a separate freezer to your own food), relatively cheap, sanitary and capable of holding various supplements.

Frozen mice must be thawed before being served and should be served using feeding equipment as many species will lunge or strike at the mice.

Generally, to work out which size rodent to feed to your snake, choose the widest point of your snake and select a rodent 1 and a half times that size.
