Scaly Leg infestation is caused by a burrowing sarcoptid mite (Cnemidocoptes mutans) that infects fowl and other birds. The mite will burrow under the scales of birds’ legs and feet and may also find its way to other areas of the bird, including the comb and wattles. Johnson’s Poultry Scaly Cream is a soothing cream to help relieve the symptoms of scaly leg in poultry.
